Bird Banding Demonstrations and Bird Walk
Celebrate the arrival of spring by joining us on Saturday April 28 for a bird walk through the forest! Expert birders from The Coulee Region Audubon Society will be leading the way and identifying birds as you go. Bring your binoculars, favorite field guide, sunglasses, and a bottle of water!
Have you ever wondered how researchers band the little legs on song birds? Now is your chance to learn! There will be live bird banding demonstrations with a variety of experts on-site to help identify birds and explain how and why we band birds.
